Moon Through The Trees

I have read that the best time to take a good moon shot is at dusk. It appears to be true.

I believe this shot demonstrates that. I got very lucky with this one. The moon was moving between the branches of this tree as I crossed a bridge.

I Love Sunsets

I love pictures of sunsets. This particular pictures was taken on July 4, 2008 from the USS Midway. I got several really good shots of the declining sun on that day.

Cloudless Sunrises Can Be Nice

This morning as well as several previous mornings has given what I consider some very nice sunrises.

I just wish I was thinking about taking pictures before the sun comes up. The orange color you get before the sun rises is sometimes very pretty.
