Another trip to Pima Canon

So this past weekend I went back to Pima Canyon and hiked around. This time it was earlier in the morning. I like how the light hits things in the morning or late afternoon because of the shadows. Except for the two that were taken in the shade, these demonstrate that nicely.
These were all taken on September 21, 2008.

An Interesting Tree

I was in Ventura, on the West end of Main Street, crossing a bridge and I noticed the large tree in the center of this picture. It just caught my eye.

I think it's the way the light was hitting it. The sun was getting close to setting and the color was just very interesting to me.

The Mouth of the Santa Clara

On May 18, 2008 I took this picture just after sunset. I parked my van and walked to the middle of the bridge which crosses the Santa Clara River on Harbor Blvd. in Ventura county.

Sometimes you can get some really nice shots in that part of Ventura county.

Pima Canyon, Arizona

I was in Pima Canyon, near Tucson Arizona this past weekend and I took a few pictures of the area. I am definitely going back as soon as I can so that I can get some more. I want to walk farther down the trail because I'm sure the scenery will only get better.
